Today Is The Day

Today is the first day of the rest of my life. Or to be accurate, it is day nr. 10 145 of my current life (yes, I am today 27 years 9 months and 8 days old). And today is the day when I’ve stayed at my current work for approximately 1 093 days. Today I’ve got only 7 days of my current work left.

Until December 31st, 2010, I had lived for app. 2 920 days in my studio in Turku, which I gave up due to my upcoming move to Brussels. Now, today, for a few more days than 5, I have lived at my parents place in Kuusisto, and I can tell you, that I have slept like a baby there, which I haven’t been able to do for probably 2 years now. And I feel like a royalty there; every morning when I get up, I get served some splendid breakfast, I get a ride to and from work, and when I get home again, I get to go straight to the dining table and get some home-cooked dinner. C’est super! Moi – la reine! ;)

Today is also the day that I start writing my blog. The day that I start expressing myself. Not for the first time, nor the last. This is the day that I start writing about my day-to-day life, so that my friends around the world are able to follow it in cyber, while I get to work on my life task. And as a substitute, while we are not physically in touch. One thing to remember - we are always connected though how many miles in between. Just give me a thought and I will be there.
