Croissants for Breakfast

Three days in a row. So, I’ll write a few lines before going to work.
Monday was my first workday, and it just went fine. It was interesting, the people are nice and I got straight to working. The interns ate lunch at Exki, a restaurant-chain that sells fresh food with salads, baguettes etc. It felt good to eat something ‘green’ again after two days at Mc Donald’s, krhm…
After work I went with one of the other interns down town to get her a Belgian prepaid number and took a look at the mall at the shopping street. We took a pita with prawns on the ground floor. It was good, yummy! After that, via Carrefour to get some breakfast-stuff. Then we took a visit at one of the local pubs, and I found myself a new favorite among beers – Premium Kriek Cherry Beer!  I certainly recommend! And I got to know that there are other tastes as well, like apple and raspberry. I will have to try them out! Then early back to the hotel since it was already quite late.

Yesterday went ok. After work I had to help the same intern to move her luggage from one hotel to another since she had to move hotels. She hasn’t found an apartment yet, but hopefully I will hear today that she got some good news yesterday. I felt quite blue actually after work and thought that a little bit of shopping would cheer me up, so I went to the mall and walked down the shopping street. I didn’t get anything, but found another Carrefour supermarket down the road, and got me some food. Ate a salad and croissants with crème de brie and chorizo in the evening, and had to taste some of the chocolates as well. The moody blues was actually due to that I feel bored of just going to work and from there spend the evening at the hotel in this small room. I want some action! But I'm sure it all will change after I get to move to my own flat. It makes a huge difference.
Ok, this seems so boring, so I will stop writing now. More later on when I have something to really write about. Btw, the protest on Sunday was due to that Belgians want a government as soon as possible, since they have been without one for… How many days again?
